Oct 1,2017 5:00 PM
The State Council issued a circular on Oct 1 praising 22 programs by local governments, saying that they have effectively promoted administrative reform and innovation.
The programs praised include the training program for a million skilled workers launched by Tianjin municipal government, the electricity trading reform launched by the Inner Mongolia autonomous region to cut the energy costs of enterprises, and the whole-process service system set up by Hebei province for tech startups.
The State Council urged authorities at all levels to learn from these good examples and continue to promote supply-side structural reform to benefit people’s livelihoods and prevent risks.
The praise is based on the results of the fourth nationwide inspection by the State Council, which is aimed at promoting the implementation of major policies made by the central government.
